Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Operation Theatre team.
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the operation theatre and equipment before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Assist the surgical team by providing instruments, supplies, and support during operations.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and provide appropriate care during surgery.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control practices and sterilization protocols.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
- Educate and counsel patients and families on post-operative care
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Valid nursing license (MOH/DHA/HAAD or eligibility preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Operation Theatre nursing.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and sterile techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
