Staff Mechanical Engineer
Role Overview
The NSI-MI Technologies mechanical engineering team develops precision positioning equipment for advanced antenna and radome measurement systems.
Our work spans concept development, machine and structural design, engineering analysis, manufacturing support, system integration, testing, alignment, installation, and verification.
NSI-MI Technologies is seeking an experienced Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead significant mechanical design efforts and support project execution from requirements definition through factory integration testing, installation, and customer acceptance.
This position requires advanced engineering judgment, strong product and system knowledge, and the ability to provide technical direction to multidisciplinary teams.
Working with minimal supervision, the engineer will develop standard and custom electromechanical systems incorporating motors, gearboxes, encoders, bearings, weldments, sheet-metal and composite structures, and precision-machined components.
The successful candidate will assume technical ownership of assigned products, systems, and major design efforts throughout the product lifecycle and contribute to the continuous improvement of company products, design standards, and engineering practices.
