About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and operate compressor performance and reliability test stands.
• Install and remove compressors from test stands.
• Fabricate and connect piping, wiring, and test instrumentation.
• Perform leak testing and transfer refrigerants between test stands and storage containers.
• Run compressor tests across engineering-requested operating conditions.
• Collect and manage data through manual and automated acquisition systems.
• Modify, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on test stands.

Basic Qualifications

• Associate degree in Air Conditioning Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Universal EPA Section 608 certification or ability to pass the required training and certification test.
• Willingness to obtain medical certification for powered industrial vehicle operation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Air conditioning and refrigeration experience is beneficial.
• Knowledge of commercial-industrial wiring, hydronic systems, AC motors, controls, electrical power systems, and laboratory instrumentation is beneficial.
• LabVIEW experience, brazing ability, rigging experience, and Microsoft Office proficiency are beneficial.

Compensation

• Annual salary range is $53,000 to $106,000.
• The position may be eligible for short-term cash incentives subject to plan requirements.
