Role Overview
The UI engineering team collaborates with backend service teams to develop user interfaces for Netskope products.
The role may include work on the Netskope REST API Gateway, which exposes REST APIs to customers.
UI and backend work may support machine learning, threat, DLP, IaaS, API, and related technologies.
What You Will Be Doing
- Implement web applications in the frontend.
- Develop web application backend services that support product features.
- Develop reusable UI components using React, Angular 16+, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Ensure the Netskope web interface works seamlessly across browsers.
- Evaluate current technologies and web methodologies for potential use in future products.
- Work as a motivated, self-driven developer and collaborative team member.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 8 years of full-stack software development experience.
- Expertise in JavaScript.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks and preprocessors.
- Experience with at least one backend language such as PHP, Python, Java, or NodeJS.
- Proficiency in algorithms and relational database design.
- Knowledge of secure web development practices.
- Working knowledge of Git or another version control tool.
- Experience with web application performance improvement and testing tools is a plus.
- Experience with React or Angular 16+ is preferred.
- Experience with AI-assisted coding platforms such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or Codex for code generation, debugging, and documentation.
Education
- A BSCS or equivalent degree is required.
- An MSCS or equivalent degree is strongly preferred.
