Responsibilities
- Develop, establish, and maintain highly available environments driven by automation and DevOps strategy.
- Design and deliver scalable Infrastructure-as-Code strategies as part of CI/CD pipelines.
- Build automated CI/CD pipelines on AWS Cloud services using common workflows and rollbacks.
- Train and support automated CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments and regions.
- Partner with engineering to drive conversion projects to cloud infrastructure.
Education and experience
- Master’s in Computer Science or Computer or Electronics Engineering plus three years of relevant experience; alternatively, a bachelor’s in those fields plus five years of progressive post-bachelor’s experience.
- Relevant positions for the experience requirement are the offered position, Software Engineer, or Application Development Analyst.
Required technical experience
- DevOps and CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, SonarQube, Snyk, and Wiz.io; Atlassian JIRA defect tracking.
- DevOps, ITIL, cloud services, IT infrastructure and operations, environment setup, server builds, firewalls, security, and compliance.
- Scripting with Python, Perl, Groovy, and Java.
- Web application development or support, or AWS microservices using Node.js, React.js, and Angular.js.
- AWS compute services: EC2, Lambda, EBS, serverless applications, and load balancers; container services: ECS with Docker.
- AWS databases: RDS, Dynamo, ElastiCache, and Aurora; analytics: Athena, CloudSearch, and Elasticsearch.
- AWS security services: IAM, WAF, Firewall Manager, Network Firewall, and Security Groups; management services: CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Auto Scaling, and OpsWorks.
