Role Scope

• Architect and design key digital blocks in SoC designs.
• Develop microarchitecture by analyzing power, performance, and area tradeoffs.
• Support ASIC product development through verification, silicon realization, and post-silicon issue debugging.
• Work with geographically distributed cross-functional product development teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical discussions.

Position Requirements

• BTech or BE degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, or a related field.
• At least eight years of hands-on digital logic design experience and/or technical leadership experience.
• Experience architecting and designing digital blocks in SoC designs.
• Experience with ASIC tape-outs; FPGA-only experience is not sufficient.
• Experience with microarchitecture, power-performance-area analysis, lint, CDC, formal equivalence, ECO flows, and scripting.
• Strong knowledge of processor and SoC architecture.
• Good verbal and written communication skills for geographically distributed teams.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience participating in post-silicon issue debugging is a plus.
• Knowledge of DSP fundamentals is an added advantage.

Schedule and Travel

• The role requires travel 10% of the time.
• The listed shift is first shift, daytime.
