Staff Developer Advocate

Role overview

What you'll do

• Create tutorials, code samples, technical blogs, and reference architectures showcasing Lightning AI products.
• Engage AI/ML and developer communities through keynotes, workshops, hackathons, and developer conferences.
• Advocate for developer feedback and influence product roadmaps and developer experience.
• Attend and speak at technology conferences, shows, and press events.
• Mentor junior developer advocates and community managers.
• Develop AI-native experimentation, automation, and testing frameworks for content.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Solutions Engineering, or Software Engineering within infrastructure, developer tools, and AI/ML.
• Hands-on expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and modern AI/ML frameworks; understanding of cloud infrastructure, GPUs, distributed systems, AI model deployment, and agentic development.
• Proven public speaking, technical storytelling, keynote, podcasting, community-building, and technical content experience for international audiences.
• Experience developing technology solutions and evangelizing end-to-end roadmaps for cloud-computing transformations.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple community initiatives, and travel internationally when needed.

Compensation

• Anticipated annual base salary range is $190,000–$230,000 USD.
• Eligible roles may include discretionary bonus and equity.
