Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain the analytics layer and guide initiatives from inception through completion.
- Create star schemas for orders, distributors, suppliers, catalog offerings, and financial workflows.
- Improve queries, transformations, testing, pipeline health, and response to schema changes.
- Standardize metrics in dbt data marts and provide trusted Metabase reporting.
- Build self-service Snowflake and Metabase layers and perform exploratory analysis.
- Mentor engineers and analysts, review pull requests, and coordinate milestones with product and engineering leaders.
