Staff Cloud & Infrastructure Architect
Role Overview
We are looking for a Staff Infrastructure Architect in our Minneapolis or NYC office to own multi-cloud infrastructure architecture, Kubernetes platform strategy, and high availability across a product-led engineering organization of roughly 250 engineers.
This is a staff level individual-contributor role with broad technical influence and no direct reports.
You will partner closely with engineering teams/leaders to anticipate infrastructure needs, shape platform strategy, and ensure the environment is ready for growth before capacity, reliability, or integration challenges become blockers.
The role is highly technical, with a focus on multi-cloud architecture, Kubernetes at scale, infrastructure-as-code, and maintaining a 99.95% uptime target.
You will also play a key role in acquisition integration, architecture standards, and evaluating AI tooling that improves infrastructure and operational productivity.

Own multi-cloud architecture across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including workload placement, network topology, resilience, and platform design
Design connectivity patterns such as VPC/VNet peering, transit, and hybrid networking
Balance portability, resilience, cloud-native capabilities, and cost
Establish cloud cost visibility and governance without slowing engineering delivery

Lead capacity and resilience planning by modeling growth and failure scenarios before they become production issues
Partner on incident postmortems and drive architectural remediation where needed
Developer Partnership
Work directly with engineering teams to understand roadmap needs 2–3+ quarters ahead
Translate upcoming product, traffic, and scaling requirements into infrastructure plans
Ensure capacity, networking, and platform capabilities are in place before teams are blocked
