Sr. Technical Solutions Architect, AI/Data

Role overview

What you’ll do

• Architect sovereign and on-premise AI solutions using enterprise platforms and open-source model-serving tools.
• Design generative AI and agentic systems, including RAG, CAG, fine-tuning, distillation, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Develop reusable architectures and decision frameworks covering cost, latency, accuracy, governance, and sovereignty.
• Lead client briefings and technical design sessions; support work scoping, effort estimates, and delivery risk reduction.
• Mentor AI practice colleagues through code reviews, enablement, and reusable assets.
• Assess emerging models, frameworks, protocols, and sovereign AI stacks.

Experience and qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, solutions or enterprise architecture, or applied AI/ML, including 2+ years hands-on in generative or agentic AI.
• Professional fluency in spoken and written French and English is required.
• Experience designing sovereign or on-premise AI, private model serving, enterprise AI platforms, and on-premise vector or graph stores.
• Knowledge of GPU infrastructure, inference optimization, networking, storage, and Kubernetes GPU scheduling.
• Knowledge of data sovereignty, privacy controls, residency, and air-gapped deployments.
• Deep knowledge of one major hyperscaler AI platform and working knowledge of the other two.
• Production experience with RAG and/or agentic systems, MCP, and enterprise integrations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent demonstrable experience; advanced degree welcomed but not required.

Location and travel

• Remote-friendly work arrangement with periodic travel to client sites and internal events, estimated at 0–15%.

Compensation

• Estimated base pay is CAD 123,760–154,700 annually, plus 30% target incentives.
• Actual pay varies by location, experience, skills, education, and related certifications.
