Role overview
Technical Architect Manager – Design Department role based in Dubai.
Leads technical design and delivery of documentation for construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design department and ensure timely delivery of high-quality design documentation.
- Review and approve architectural drawings, construction details, specifications, and technical submissions.
- Prepare, review, and modify drawings using AutoCAD.
- Coordinate structural, MEP, civil, and other disciplines; resolve technical conflicts and maintain design consistency.
- Ensure compliance with UAE codes, authority regulations, and project specifications.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical proposals, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate technical requirements and design issues with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
- Monitor design progress, deliverables, quality, and deadlines; conduct site visits and address construction discrepancies.
- Guide and supervise the design team; establish standards, workflows, and quality controls.
- Identify design optimization, constructability, and value engineering opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant architectural design, technical coordination, or design management experience.
- Previous UAE experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, technical documentation, and building regulations.
- Good working proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for independent drawing review, editing, and preparation.
- Revit proficiency and familiarity with BIM workflows are advantageous.
- Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and technical document management.
- Knowledge of UAE authority approval processes and building regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; able to manage projects, coordinate teams, and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to design quality and technical accuracy.
- Arabic is required.

- Pay starts at AED 6,000 per month.
