Zinnia is hiring a Senior Software Engineer I and Technical Lead to design, develop, test, install, and maintain software platforms.

The position is focused on API development, platform architecture, security protocols, troubleshooting, and technical leadership.
What you'll do
- Develop software in a global, cross-functional team and create efficient, testable code for SE2 platforms.
- Support, troubleshoot, improve, and enhance existing Zinnia platforms.
- Collaborate with global teams, internal stakeholders, and customers.
- Mentor team members, act as a technology expert, and conduct technical reviews.
- Architect, design, develop, and validate platform requirements.
- Prioritize work and adapt to changing business needs while working independently and collaboratively.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent related professional experience.
- 7–11 years of experience with JavaScript, Go, Java, Python, Ruby, or another relevant programming language.
- Experience writing REST APIs and documenting them with OpenAPI specifications.
- Working knowledge of API gateways, with Kong preferred.
- Working knowledge of OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect protocols.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
