Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software that meets the needs of both customers and internal teams
  • Drive clarity on software requirements from diverse groups including application engineers, hardware, firmware engineers
  • Contribute to both existing and new projects, covering a broad range of languages and scope. We use Java, Kotlin and Python.
  • Aid in code reviews for fellow team members, as required
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • 2 to 7 years of software development experience
  • Technical expertise in Java, Kotlin programming languages
  • Assist in the upkeep of code quality, reusability, and continual code evaluation
  • Ability to design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions using creative, unconventional approaches
  • Strong understanding of Software Architecture and Design principles, Behavior-Driven Development and unit testing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Generative and Agentic AI for software development.
  • Experience working with JavaScript, JavaFX or GUI development
  • Understanding of DevOps including JIRA, Confluence and GitLab preferred
  • Understanding of basic electronics, microcontroller programming and bus communication
