We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer who is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences using Golang, gRPC based micro-services.

As a member of the Accounts team, you will help build and shape new improved experiences with impact across the whole company.

A resilient and scalable Accounts system ensures both stability and helps with growth of our member base.

This role has a strong focus on user identity and account management — registration, authentication, authorization, and identity provider integrations — so hands-on experience with identity management platforms (e.g., Auth0, Okta) and IAM concepts (SSO, OIDC, SAML, MFA/passwordless auth) is highly valued.

You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build scalable, performant, and accessible applications.

You’ll play a key role in defining the technical foundations and ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for users.

Backend engineers at Hinge Health contribute to their team’s success by architecting and implementing end-to-end solutions, well-tested performant APIs and data models.

In addition, candidates will profile their systems to stay out ahead of scaling bottlenecks, and help maintain a high bar with thoughtful and constructive code reviews.

Our production systems rely on Golang, gRPC, AWS, Postgres, Redis, and temporal.
