Senior Software Engineering Supervisor responsible for leading software engineers and delivering robust, scalable software solutions.
The role oversees the full software development lifecycle and supports innovation, quality, and customer impact.
Leadership responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams, foster collaboration, recruit talent, develop successors, improve retention, and support employee engagement.
- Coach teams, improve work practices, implement governance, influence stakeholders, and drive successful project delivery.
Technical responsibilities
- Oversee requirements gathering, architecture, design, development, deployment, and integration of multiple subsystems.
- Lead software programs and customer-facing products involving SaaS, mobile, cloud, and IoT technologies.
- Support automation, unit testing, DevOps, Agile development, and large software-solution design.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Graduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Computer Science with relevant hands-on software experience.
- At least 10–12 years of experience.
- Experience leading software development, deployment, system integration, and multiple engineering projects.
- Experience generating system requirements and converting them into architecture and design.
- Experience with SaaS, mobile, cloud, IoT, automation, unit testing, DevOps, and Agile environments.
Additional qualifications
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, conceptual, team-building, mentoring, and decision-making skills.
- Experience designing large software solutions and working in a global product-development environment.
- Building-domain knowledge is an added advantage.
- Customer focus, creativity, initiative, attention to detail, and a results-oriented approach.
