Salary Range
$156,400.00 - $210,841.00
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits. Qualifications

· 7+ years of professional software development experience, including strong production work in Python.
· Experience in energy and commodities technology, such as ETRM/CTRM products, trading and risk systems at an energy trading firm, utility, or bank commodity desk, or front-office development that supports commodity trading.
· Working knowledge of market conventions, deal structures, and trade lifecycle events for derivatives.
· Demonstrated ability to work in more than one language and DBMS.
· Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
· Experience building and deploying software on a public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
· Strong design skills, and the ability to lead feature-level design within a team.
· Ability to understand unfamiliar code bases and to debug production systems.
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What Will Make You Stand Out
· Development experience on a graph-based pricing and risk platform (Beacon, Quartz, Athena, or SecDB).
· Production experience in multiple languages and DBMSes.
· Experience building real-time trading and risk systems.
· Financial engineering knowledge and experience.
· Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
