Role Overview
IAM Operations Analyst / Engineer Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations Analyst to support day-to-day IAM operations across enterprise applications and identity platforms.
The role is responsible for user access provisioning and deprovisioning, application access management, Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID administration, group management, and ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Application Access Management Process application access requests, modifications, and removals in accordance with approved procedures. Perform user provisioning and deprovisioning across enterprise applications. Validate approvals and ensure appropriate authorization before granting access. Support role-based access control (RBAC) and entitlement management activities. Investigate and resolve access-related incidents and service requests. Maintain accurate records of user access and access changes. Identity Lifecycle Management Execute Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) processes. Ensure timely onboarding and offboarding of workforce members. Support automated and manual provisioning workflows. Monitor provisioning failures and perform corrective actions. Coordinate with application owners and HR teams to maintain access accuracy. Active Directory Administration Manage user, group, and service accounts within Active Directory. Create, modify, and remove security groups and distribution groups. Perform password resets, account unlocks, and user account maintenance. Support Group Policy administrative activities as required. Troubleshoot AD operational issues and escalate complex incidents. Microsoft Entra ID Administration Manage users, groups, licenses, and administrative roles in Microsoft Entra ID. Support identity synchronization and hybrid identity operations. Perform Entra ID group creation, modification, and membership management. Support MFA, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) operational activities. Monitor and resolve Entra ID-related incidents and service requests. Compliance and Governance Participate in periodic access reviews and certification campaigns. Support audit evidence collection and compliance activities. Ensure adherence to security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles. Identify process improvement opportunities and automation use cases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field. 3-6 years of experience in IAM Operations, Identity Administration, or Access Management. Hands-on experience with: Active Directory Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) User and group administration Identity lifecycle management (JML) Access provisioning and deprovisioning ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms Strong understanding of RBAC and access governance concepts. Experience working within defined SLAs and operational support environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SailPoint, One Identity, Saviynt, or similar IGA solutions. Experience supporting PAM platforms such as CyberArk or BeyondTrust. Knowledge of MFA, Conditional Access, and PIM. Understanding of SOX, HIPAA, ISO 27001, or other compliance frameworks. Scripting experience using PowerShell for IAM automation.
