Sr. SAP S/4HANA Materials & Logistics Configuration Analyst

Role Overview

Global Process Ownership

• Own S/4HANA MM/IM/LE processes and promote S/4HANA-native functionality.
• Define global standards, documentation, and best practices for procurement, warehousing, logistics, and inventory management.
• Lead continuous improvement and support the global digital roadmap.

Solution Design and Delivery

• Translate business strategies into scalable functional designs for procurement, warehouse operations, goods movement, and outbound logistics.
• Facilitate future-state design sessions emphasizing S/4HANA simplification and best practices.
• Oversee configuration, enhancements, testing, and User Acceptance Testing across the MM/LE landscape.

Collaboration and Integration

• Partner with Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, Finance, Sales, and other functions on integrated supply chain processes.
• Guide external consultants, developers, and functional peers across modules.
• Support partner integrations using IDoc, BAPI, ALE, and SAP Integration Suite.

Governance and Improvement

• Maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and training materials; drive process standardization.
• Streamline material flows, improve warehouse efficiency, and optimize delivery and shipment processes.

Experience and Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP MM/IM/LE configuration and functional solution design experience; direct S/4HANA exposure is preferred.
• Strong understanding of procurement, materials management, inventory control, warehouse processes, and outbound logistics.
• Expertise across MM/LE functions including purchase requisitions and orders, stock transport orders, release strategies, goods issue/receipt, delivery and shipment processing, and warehouse management concepts.
• Familiarity with Finance and SD modules and end-to-end supply chain flows; demonstrated cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Compensation

• Pay range: $107,800–$161,700 USD, with hiring range varying by experience, skills, location, and market conditions.
• Annual and long-term incentives may be available depending on role, location, and eligibility.
