Key responsibilities

• Generate business through cold calling, networking, references, and market visits; identify industrial and manufacturing prospects.
• Understand customer needs and coordinate with technical teams to propose suitable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers; follow enquiries through negotiation and order closure.
• Conduct customer visits, maintain client relationships, and achieve sales and business development targets.
• Keep lead and customer records, coordinate with Design, Engineering, Service, Production, and Accounts, and report sales activity.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities.

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in industrial sales, engineering products, automation, machinery, or B2B sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, customer relationship, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to understand technical products and explain solutions; target-oriented and proactive approach.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office or Excel and CRM or sales reporting tools.

Preferred candidate

• Experience in industrial automation, material handling, machinery, or engineering products is an advantage.
• An existing industrial customer network is preferred; local and regional market knowledge is an added advantage.

Pay and benefits

• Pay is ₹30,000–₹500,000 per month.
• Paid time off is listed as a benefit.
