Role overview

Quality control and documentation

• Guide suppliers, subcontractors, and in-house teams to comply with project quality plans and quality-control documentation.
• Develop project inspection and test plans, records, method statements, and supplier quality requirements for supplier approval.
• Prepare inspection requests, material inspection requests, supplier and subcontractor submittals, and end-project documentation.
• Prepare internal project-status meeting data aligned with the schedule.
• Support the project quality plan and organizational quality management system, including procedures, work instructions, and forms.
• Control documents and records, nonconformities, corrective actions, internal audits, and improvement opportunities.
• Explain quality fundamentals to staff using quality-awareness presentations.

Inspections and improvement

• Conduct supplier audits and incoming, in-process, installation, and commissioning inspections; record FAT and SAT results.
• Identify nonconformities and take appropriate corrective action.
• Prepare work reports, manage schedules against deadlines, update inspection-status overviews and the Global List of Open Points, and follow up to close snags and nonconformities.
• Use histograms, control charts, cause-and-effect diagrams, Pareto analysis, and scatter diagrams to identify improvement opportunities and support change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Six to eight years of quality-control experience in a project-based environment.
• Knowledge of business processes and operational control requirements; experience with data analysis and statistical reporting.
• Clear direction and decision-making; able to work with multicultural teams using diplomacy and assertiveness.
• Diligence, attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent English communication.
• Steel fabrication and installation knowledge is an advantage; SCADA/PLC understanding is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is a definitive edge.
