Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years experience in construction or engineering in highway or transportation projects
  • Experience with Bus Rapid Transit projects is preferred
  • Experience in COSA and/or TxDOT standards and documentation preferred
  • FTA experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in engineering and construction software
  • Must be willing to work full time on-site in San Antonio, TX

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with client staff and associated stakeholders
  • Manage staff working on the project
  • Manage and organize project communications (meetings, reports)
  • Coordinate schedules, budgets, and timelines
  • Support quality control and ensure compliance with contract requirements
  • Communicate with field teams, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Assist the Program Manager and potentially step in during their absence
  • Maintaining and organizing project records, including drawings, specifications, reports, and submittals
  • Coordinating schedules, budgets, and timelines for construction projects
  • Assisting with calculations, design reviews, and resolving technical issues
  • Coordinate efforts with the project control manager
  • Tracking project costs, preparing budgets, and assisting with financial reports
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and contractual requirements
  • Communicating project progress, updates, and issues to stakeholders
  • Assisting with tasks like meeting coordination, report preparation, and office equipment maintenance
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications
  • Assisting with the review, analysis, and processing of change orders
  • Seek information and assist in the preparation of various stakeholder reports
  • Familiarity with construction means and methods, submittals, RFI's, and change orders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Bus Rapid Transit projects is preferred
  • Experience in COSA and/or TxDOT standards and documentation preferred
  • FTA experience is preferred
