Sr. Product Manager

AI-first product role

Responsibilities and essential functions

• Translate product vision into prioritized AI-enabled features, epics, and user stories.
• Identify platform-level AI capabilities that scale across CDK products.
• Develop business cases for AI features, including efficiency gains, revenue lift, and cost savings.
• Align product investments to strategic goals and measurable dealership outcomes.
• Own and prioritize product backlogs while balancing customer value, technical feasibility, and AI and data readiness.
• Partner with R&D, Data Science, and Scrum Masters across the full product lifecycle.
• Manage interdependencies across product lines and align shared capabilities, data models, and AI strategies.
• Synthesize dealer feedback, behavioral data, and market trends for product decisions.
• Define and monitor product and AI metrics, including adoption, revenue, NPS, model accuracy, precision, recall, utilization, and automation rate.
• Lead A/B testing and model evaluation to improve product performance.
• Ensure AI features support fairness, transparency, privacy, and accountability.
• Mentor junior product team members and promote AI-first, data-driven product thinking.

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or Data Science, or at least 7 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 4 years of Product Management or Product Owner experience in enterprise SaaS environments.
• Proven ability to deliver complex products end-to-end.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, and distributed teams.
• Strategic thinking, execution focus, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to translate complex workflows into AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong communication, influence, stakeholder management, and technical collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for dealership, customer, industry-event, and internal stakeholder engagement.
• Apply AI-first, platform-driven thinking with automation, prediction, generative capabilities, experimentation, responsible AI, and measurable outcomes.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience defining and delivering AI or machine-learning-enabled products or data-driven platforms.
• Expertise writing features, epics, and user stories and driving product execution.
• Experience building business cases and aligning product strategy to outcomes.
• Knowledge of automotive, recreation, or heavy-equipment industries.
• Pragmatic Institute certification or equivalent.

Travel requirement

• Travel up to 25% to engage dealerships, customers, industry events, and internal stakeholders.
