Sr. Product Applications Engineer-DFA & DFM Support

Required Qualifications

• · Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, Production, Industrial, or a related engineering discipline.
• · 4-6 years of experience in product applications, mechanical design, manufacturing engineering, product validation, or production support.
• · Strong knowledge of DFM, DFA, engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• · Experience with fabricated, machined, welded, sheet-metal, or assembled mechanical components.
• · Hands-on experience with product testing, dimensional inspection, and measuring tools.
• · Working knowledge of CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar software.
• · Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• · Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Jira, Arena, PLM, or similar engineering systems.
• · Willingness to travel occasionally to manufacturing, supplier, customer, or project locations.
• · Experience in renewable energy, solar products, structural systems, industrial equipment, automotive, aerospace, or electromechanical products will be a plus.
• · Familiarity with FMEA, first-article inspection, supplier-quality processes, and engineering change management is a plus.
