Role overview
The Senior People Partner supports segments across Samsara’s Go-To-Market and Sales teams and reports to the Director, GTM People Partners.
The role partners with executive leadership on strategy and business challenges.
Candidates may reside in the United States or Canada.
Responsibilities
- Align talent priorities with business outcomes as an embedded strategic partner to Sales and Go-To-Market leaders.
- Diagnose organizational needs and recommend business-aligned solutions.
- Drive talent management, compensation and rewards programs, and retention strategies to lower attrition.
- Collaborate with Regional People Partners, Program Managers, and Centers of Excellence to develop and deliver people solutions.
- Model and embed company cultural principles as the organization scales.
- Travel approximately once per quarter for leadership offsites, strategy meetings, and key team gatherings.
Minimum requirements
- At least 6 years of People Partnering experience.
- Experience partnering with Go-To-Market teams such as Sales or Customer Success, or broader People experience alongside business partnering.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI to automate routine tasks.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, iterative environment with changing priorities.
- Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience using data to develop insights and influence leadership decisions.
- Effective communication, consulting, coaching, and facilitation skills.
