Sr Network Solutions Engineer

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant professional experience may be considered.

7-10 years of demonstrated professional experience administering and supporting enterprise network environments.

At a minimum, the Network Engineer should have

Experience supporting network infrastructur within data centers, critical facilities, industrial environments, or other high-availability environments.

Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and Layer 2/Layer 3 network architecture.

Experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, ACLs, and related network technologies.

Knowledge of network security principles including segmentation, least privilege, secure remote access, authentication, and defense in depth.

Experience with network monitoring, logging, configuration management, and troubleshooting tools, syslog, SNMP, NetFlow or similar traffic analysis technologies.

Experience with vulnerability management, configuration hardening, security monitoring, and incident response.

Experience working within formal change management, configuration management, and incident management processes.

Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks or standards applicable to enterprise and Operational Technology environments.

Familiarity with API calls and implementation standards and AI communication principles.

Ability to communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical personnel.

Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and management.

Ability to travel to data sites and install physical devices as needed.

Ability to evaluate technical risks and recommend practical solutions.

Ability to balance cybersecurity requirements with operational availability requirements.

Ability to manage multiple technical issues and priorities simultaneously.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive technical and business information.

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

CompTIA Network+

CompTIA Security+

GIAC or other cybersecurity/OT security certifications

Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, Cisco, or comparable network/security vendor certifications

Other relevant network, cybersecurity, data center, or Operational Technology certifications

Equivalent demonstrated experience may be considered in place of certifications.
