Sr. Merchandiser

Role purpose

Outlet merchandising and execution

• Visit assigned traditional trade outlets according to the daily journey plan.
• Merchandise products across shelves, stands, floor displays, and other store access points; place point-of-sale materials where applicable.
• Follow approved planograms, rotate stock using FIFO, remove substandard products, and maintain clean, fresh shelf stock.
• Participate in sampling and redemption campaigns when required.

Reporting and performance

• Monitor competitor activity and report deviations from agreed outlet terms.
• Record visits in PACE with accurate photos, counts, and timestamps; follow the journey plan, avoid manual or offline reporting, and close system action items.
• Report daily activity and market developments; prepare sales reports and recommendations and support sales and promotional execution.
• Performance measures include execution standards, journey-plan adherence, PACE outcomes, visits versus plan, and store-compliance KPIs.

Qualifications

• High-school certificate or higher.
• Valid driving license.
• Knowledge of sales channels and basic sales knowledge.
• Strong customer communication and interpersonal skills; service-level orientation.
• Physically fit to fulfil assigned tasks.
