Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Role details

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mechanical engineering activities across project phases.
• Review and approve mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and engineers from other disciplines.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure mechanical works meet project requirements, codes, and standards.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
• Manage procurement of mechanical materials and equipment.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–12 years of relevant UAE experience; high-rise buildings, infrastructure, marine, or oil and gas project experience is preferred as relevant.
• Proven experience with HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other mechanical design software.
• Strong communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
• Must be available to join immediately; candidates with a notice period will not be considered.
