Sr. Manager, Supplier Performance (SPM)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop supplier performance strategies covering quality, cost, and delivery schedules.
• Lead supplier-site improvements in process optimization, quality, cost reduction, and CORE maturity.
• Monitor and report weekly and monthly performance metrics; conduct reviews and assessments.
• Resolve issues at supplier and sub-tier sites and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Mitigate supply-chain risks and collaborate with engineering, quality, and program-management stakeholders.
• Provide on-site training and daily in-person engagement with prime and sub-tier suppliers.
• Support strategic sourcing and present performance reports and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Requires 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 7 years, in supplier performance, supply chain, or operations management.
• Requires demonstrated metric-oriented performance improvement in low-maturity environments.
• Requires manufacturing, quality standards, metrics, analytical, data-analysis, and process-improvement knowledge.
• Requires communication, leadership, project-management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.

• Supplier performance, supply-chain and operations management, and manufacturing processes.
• Performance metrics, reporting, data analysis, process improvement, and CORE tier management.
• Supplier risk management, relationship development, and strategic sourcing support.

Workplace

• The role is onsite in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with daily in-person supplier engagement and supplier-site training.
