Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and build client relationships to expand market presence.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to meet customer requirements and service standards.
- Analyze market trends, prepare business plans and forecasts, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance against targets.
- Mentor sales team members and collaborate with senior leadership on growth initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings.
Qualifications
- Proven B2B sales and business development experience; steel, manufacturing, or industrial sector experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop sales teams and achieve revenue targets.
- Requires analytical, business planning, communication, customer service, and sales operations skills.
- Requires negotiation and contract management skills, including familiarity with pricing strategies and commercial terms.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Requires comfort working on-site in an industrial setting and collaborating with operations, production, and technical teams.
Pay and benefits
- Pay is ₹90,000–₹100,000 per month.
- Benefits include health insurance and Provident Fund.
