Sr. Machine Operator

Role purpose

Production and process control

• Make operating decisions that maximize output and yield conversion.
• Perform and report hourly process-control checks.
• Conduct quality wall meetings at required intervals.
• Ensure raw materials are available near the line for production runs.
• Ensure the line achieves required business efficiency and material-efficiency targets.

Equipment and workforce management

• Repair and maintain necessary processing equipment to support line efficiency.
• Report equipment maintenance or repair needs to Engineering through MP2.
• Manage process workers assigned to the line, including breaks, cleaning, and attendance timing.
• Maintain workstations in good condition through regular running patrols and checklists.

Quality, safety, and resources

• Maintain equipment hygiene, housekeeping, and Good Manufacturing Practice standards.
• Ensure quality products are produced at all times.
• Report food-safety, health, and workplace hazards to direct managers.
• Support IPS and food-safety audits.
• Monitor and minimize water, electricity, and gas usage.
• Participate in continual improvement of the EHS Management System in accordance with applicable standards and legislation.
