Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and modernize enterprise fraud solutions using cloud-native architectures and engineering best practices.
- Partner with Product Management, Architecture, and Engineering teams to define and execute the fraud platform modernization roadmap.
- Develop scalable, highly available, and low-latency applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Design and implement APIs, event-driven solutions, and distributed systems to support global fraud services.
- Contribute to system architecture, technical design reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Leverage cloud platforms and DevOps practices to improve deployment, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
- Mentor team members, provide technical guidance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, PI planning activities, and delivery commitments.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive performance, reliability, and security improvements.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise application development using Core Java.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Expertise in System Design, distributed systems, scalable architectures, and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming platforms.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases and data-driven application design.
• Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support experience.
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
