Sr iOS Software Engineer - Creative Apps

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Set direction and architecture for collaborative creative features.
• Drive features from concept through delivery.
• Collaborate with human-interface designers, QA, and cross-functional teams.
• Influence user-interface decisions and project planning.
• Mentor others and support sustainable software development.

Minimum qualifications

• At least 5 years shipping high-quality, tested iOS and/or macOS code.
• Technical-lead experience and strong communication, collaboration, and project-management skills.
• Strong understanding of Apple platform architectural patterns.
• Solid computer science fundamentals and object-oriented design.
• Proficiency in Swift and at least one of SwiftUI, UIKit, or AppKit.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and own product features.
• Track record of mentoring others while remaining open to learning and asking for help.
• Commitment to an open and inclusive work environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Interest in Apple creative applications such as Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, iMovie, or GarageBand.
• Experience with Swift async/await and actors.
• Swift Testing and/or XCTest proficiency.
• Commitment to accessibility and localization.

Compensation

• Base pay range is $153,700 to $290,700; pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

• Discretionary stock programs, bonuses or commissions, and relocation may be available subject to eligibility and applicable terms.
