Requirements

  • This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business or related field or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of 7+ years of progressive human resources experience.
  • The successful incumbent will rely on his/her demonstrated HR experience and judgment to plan and deliver maximum value to the company as a whole.
  • Additionally, the successful incumbent will possess:
  • Proven experience as a Sr. HR Generalist.
  • Knowledge of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the Service Contract Act (SCA).
  • Experience with HRIS Deltek Costpoint required.
  • PHR or SPHR a plus.
  • Ability to work independently on a broad variety of HR-related projects.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, display discretion and protect privacy of information.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office Products is a must.
  • Experience with recruiting and maintaining applicant flow log.
  • Previous experience in a government contracting environment preferred.
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations procedures and applicable laws to independently and appropriately respond to workplace matters.
  • Demonstrated experience in consultative and coaching skills
  • Ability to carefully listening to understand client needs, concerns, and challenges to provide tailored solutions.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
