Sr. Human Resource Specialist
About This Role
Job Summary
The Senior HR Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, managing employee promotion processes, administering performance management programs, enhancing employee engagement, and overseeing employee exit processes in compliance with Saudi Labor Law and company policies.
The role ensures HR practices promote a positive work environment, employee satisfaction, and alignment with organizational objectives.
1. HR Policies & Procedures
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures in line with Saudi Labor Law and company standards.
- Ensure consistent implementation and communication of HR policies across departments.
- Maintain and update the HR policy manual and ensure employees have access to it.
- Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies to managers and employees.
- Monitor HR practices to ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
2. Promotions & Internal Mobility
- Manage the employee promotion process based on company policy and performance criteria.
- Coordinate with department managers to evaluate promotion eligibility.
- Ensure fairness, transparency, and proper documentation for all promotion decisions.
- Update HR systems and compensation structures following promotions.
- Support internal mobility and career development initiatives.
3. Performance Management
- Administer the organization’s performance management system and annual appraisal cycle.
- Coordinate goal setting, performance reviews, and annual evaluations.
- Provide guidance to managers on effective performance assessment and feedback.
- Monitor performance review completion rates and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Support development plans and performance improvement plans (PIPs).
4. Employee Engagement
- Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives and programs.
- Conduct employee engagement surveys and analyze results to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop action plans to enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and retention.
- Organize employee events, recognition programs, and internal communication initiatives.
- Work closely with management to promote a positive organizational culture and employee experience.
5. Employee Exit & Offboarding
- Manage employee resignation, termination, and offboarding processes.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law regarding notice periods, end-of-service benefits, and final settlements.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and improvement areas.
- Coordinate employee clearance procedures with relevant departments.
- Ensure timely processing of final settlements and issuance of experience certificates.
Education Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- MBA in Human Resource is preferred.
Experience
- 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably within Saudi Arabia.
- Experience in HR policies, performance management, employee engagement, promotions, and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and HR compliance requirements.
