Sr. Financial Analyst

Role overview

Essential duties

• Analyze and model historical, current, and potential future financial data to assess business health and opportunities.
• Partner with selected functions to identify profit and cash opportunities, including cost savings, efficiency improvements, and strategic investments.
• Develop financial models, metrics, reports, tools, and data for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting; support variance and scenario analysis.
• Use financial data and business partnering to drive operational results and discipline.
• Evaluate capital expenditures and depreciation and prepare financial documentation for funding and investment opportunities.
• Analyze industry trends and benchmarks and recommend strategic decisions using scenario analysis.
• Develop SOPs and SWIs and participate in kaizen activities to improve internal controls.
• Support monthly financial close and complete other projects and ad hoc analysis as requested.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• At least six years of related manufacturing-industry experience.
• Advanced literacy in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI; proficiency in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, partnering, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, collaborate, and build consensus.
• Ability to multitask, handle confidential information responsibly, and provide timely and accurate information to management.
• Highly organized and systematic; able to work with domestic and international teams.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4, Oracle, or another fully integrated ERP system.
• Working-level English reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Preferred qualifications

• MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
• Preferred experience includes EPMs, think-cell, Claude, Palantir, finance-focused AI agents, or SAP S/4 super-user responsibilities.
• Resilience, a positive approach, self-motivation, and ability to work well under pressure are preferred.

Workplace and physical demands
