Engagement is on an independent contractor basis for an experienced, analytical Senior Financial Analyst.
Supports financial insights, executive dashboards, board and investor reporting, and data-backed decisions in a high-growth SaaS environment.
Partners with Finance leadership, Revenue teams, Operations, Sales, and private equity stakeholders.
Location
- 100% remote within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and annual operating plans.
- Analyze SaaS and business KPIs, including revenue, bookings, ARR, churn, retention, margin, profitability, liquidity, headcount, and operational performance.
- Develop scenario analyses and financial models; maintain budget-versus-actual and variance reporting.
- Prepare executive, board, and private equity reporting and investor-requested analyses.
- Use AI tools to identify trends and anomalies; improve reporting automation and data integrity with data and systems teams.
- Create leadership-ready summaries and visuals and support SaaS, sales, and operational KPI reporting.
- Support Workday Adaptive Planning adoption and cross-functional analysis of ROI, pricing, compensation, hiring, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Recommend process improvements using automation, AI, and more efficient workflows.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 2–4+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related analytical role.
- Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.
