Role Overview: SR. ENGINEER - PLANNING

The SR. ENGINEER - PLANNING is responsible for developing baseline and tender schedules, monitoring project progress, and administering schedules to clients and consultants. This full-time role also involves assisting with delay analysis for Extension of Time (EOT) Claims. The position requires 8-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of KSA national employees to achieve corporate objectives, Saudization targets, and knowledge dissemination.
• Conduct all affairs with high standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety, and corporate governance.
• Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics policy and company values.
• Adopt and utilize company systems and ERP.
• Implement instructions, deadlines, work methodologies, project execution plans, procedures, procurement plans, and overall project strategies to prepare baseline schedules.
• Lead the preparation of Tender schedules as requested, ensuring accurate reflection of the scope of work.
• Integrate inter-discipline schedule requirements and constraints to establish logical work sequences.
• Develop specific work breakdown structures and recommend modifications for new work items.
• Provide site management with planned manpower requirements.
• Identify and analyze preliminary risks, recommending corrective measures.
• Oversee data inputs for project execution plans and support the development of required plans (constructability, procurement, engineering, construction schedule, budgets, mobilization) as per submitted bids.
• Ensure budgets, schedules, WBS, and CBS are set up in EPM and EPPM.
• Ensure EPM and EPPM users are selected, trained, and assigned to projects.
• Support the performance of project controls resource activities on sites.
• Monitor equipment and manpower performance, material deliveries and wastage, and overall project cost controls.
• Identify, analyze, and monitor schedule deviations for assigned disciplines or specialties, including subcontractors, and recommend corrective actions or work-around solutions.
• Prepare action plans and arrange weekly action plan meetings.
• Highlight activities with delay risk, allocate ownership of action plans, and identify target dates for completion.
