Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of engineering projects, including drafting plans, creating models, and conducting simulations.
  • Conduct research and gather data to support project development, including materials, costs, and regulations.
  • Perform calculations and analyses to ensure designs meet specifications and safety standards. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and testing.
  • Participate in field inspections and testing to validate project designs and identify potential issues.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems that arise during project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Support the maintenance of engineering databases and documentation. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process optimizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.) or a related field. Previous internship or co-op experience (0-5 years) in an engineering capacity is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
