The employer is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer for high-rise residential building projects.
The role leads site activities and oversees LV and ELV installation execution.
The engineer independently manages on-site activities and reports to the Project Manager and Project Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the electrical site team and coordinate workflow.
- Oversee LV and ELV installation and commissioning according to project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with DEWA and DCD regulations and site safety requirements.
- Coordinate electrical works with other disciplines, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Provide progress reports and escalate risks affecting timelines or quality.
- Inspect electrical installations and resolve technical or site-related issues.
- Prepare variations and obtain consultant approvals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical engineering or a related field.
- The overview requests five to seven years of Electrical Site Engineer experience, while the qualifications section requests eight to ten years of relevant experience.
- Ten years of high-rise building Electrical Site Engineer experience in the UAE is preferred.
- Experience must include DEWA procedures for LV and HV inspections, drawing interpretation, material take-offs, procurement lists, labor allocation, and subcontractor management.
- In-depth knowledge of LV and ELV systems and strong understanding of DEWA and DCD regulations are required.
- Experience with fire alarm, emergency and central battery, structured cabling, audio/video intercom, access control, SMATV, BMS, home automation, and gate barrier systems is required.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and independent site-team management skills are required.

- Work is performed in person on site.
