Who You Are

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required (general business, managed healthcare, or legal disciplines preferred); MBA or other advanced degree (JD, PhD) is a plus.
  • Industry & Functional Experience: 12+ years of cross-functional experience in market access, account management, contract negotiations, strategic operations, or related fields within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry is required. Expert understanding and direct experience within the Payer/PBM and specialty pharmacy segment is preferred.
  • Leadership Experience: 6+ years of direct people management experience, with at least 5 years leading cross-functional strategy development or operations teams.
  • Strategic & Business Acumen: Outstanding strategic orientation with deep knowledge of biotech industry dynamics, managed care customer segments, market access models, and government/regulatory contracting guidelines.
  • Operational & Technical Proficiency: Proven expertise in long- and short-range strategic planning, departmental budgeting, and leveraging data analytics or relevant technology to optimize contract performance.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Superior influencing, negotiation, and mobilization skills with a demonstrated ability to partner effectively across senior leadership, internal matrix teams, and external customers.
  • The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $209,700 - $389,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed in this link.
