Zachry Engineering Corporation is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Designer with strong expertise in drawing and model checking, QA/QC, and design verification to support complex industrial and infrastructure projects in Charlotte, North Carolina.

This role combines advanced civil/structural design responsibilities with primary accountability as a designated drawing and model checker.

The Senior Designer ensures that all 2D deliverables and 3D models—including civil, structural steel, concrete, and architectural elements—meet client requirements, company standards, and applicable codes prior to release.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining quality, accuracy, and constructability across multiple concurrent projects while supporting team coordination and mentoring.

In addition, as project needs arise, the Senior Designer will contribute directly to the development of models and drawings, supporting overall design production efforts.
