Sr Data Scientist

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with at least six years of relevant professional experience, or a master’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience.
• Strong data science and analytical skills, with the ability to structure and execute complex analyses and build business cases that evaluate benefits, costs, risks, and trade-offs.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel, statistical analysis, data visualization, and PowerPoint.
• Experience developing data-driven strategies, segmentation, experimentation frameworks, or decision tools.
• Ability to use AI and advanced analytics to build reusable solutions for portfolio measurement, A/B testing, strategy optimization, and performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of experimental design, test-and-learn methodologies, and performance measurement.
• Demonstrated ability to translate analytical findings into practical business strategies and implementation requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex findings succinctly to senior management.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to align stakeholders across Credit Strategy, Fraud, Risk, Second Line, Operations, Product, Technology, and Legal and Compliance.
• A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently, identify and resolve issues, and recommend improvements to strategies, policies, and processes.
