Opportunity

Experience

• Requires 10–12 years of overall IT experience focused on data engineering and cloud data platforms.
• Requires at least 6 years in data architecture or engineering across modeling, pipelines, ELT/ETL, data products, and distributed systems.
• Requires at least 6 years of Snowflake data warehousing experience.
• Requires at least 4 years of hands-on dbt experience and at least 3 years with Fivetran or similar tools.
• Requires at least 3 years supporting Power BI reporting, semantic models, DAX, and dataset performance.

Technical qualifications

• Requires Snowflake architecture knowledge, dbt models and testing, Fivetran connector management, and dimensional data modeling.
• Requires technical specification and pipeline design documentation experience.
• Requires SAP ECC/S4HANA source-system knowledge and Power BI consumption-layer experience.
• Requires analytical problem-solving, effort estimation, and ability to gather stakeholder requirements and work independently.
• GenAI/LLM practical interest is sought; hands-on production experience is not mandatory.
• Preferred experience includes Python, PySpark, JSON/Parquet/Avro, Airflow, Dagster, Snowflake Tasks/Streams, and GenAI APIs.
• SnowPro Core or Advanced certification is preferred; dbt Analytics Engineer certification is a plus.
• A bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent major is listed as a preferred qualification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Analytics and BI teams to prototype data solutions, including applicable GenAI-assisted approaches.
• Own ingestion, transformation, storage/modeling, and reporting pipelines using Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, and Power BI.
• Lead engineering initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
• Build Snowflake solutions, design dbt models, and configure and administer Fivetran pipelines.
• Pilot GenAI uses such as documentation, test generation, and natural-language querying.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and management while working independently.
• Set technical standards for dbt styles, naming, and test coverage.
• Use version control, CI/CD, code review, and disciplined development practices; perform other assigned duties.
