Job description
Develop data models relevant to pricing strategy and ensure pricing integrity and accuracy.
Use statistical methods to assess pricing strategy impacts on profitability; create models, forecasts, reports, and KPI tracking.
Prepare and analyze cost and pricing proposals and support value-based pricing.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science or a related field.
- Six months of experience as a Senior Data Analyst-Pricing or in a related occupation.
Responsibilities
- Develop data models relevant to pricing strategy.
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of pricing matters and use statistical modeling to assess the potential profitability impact of pricing strategies.
- Create interactive statistical and data-driven models.
- Develop forward-looking financial statements and forecasts.
- Track and measure pricing KPIs and report on pricing projects and effectiveness.
- Ensure applicable fees and adjustments are actioned over the life of contracts and promote value-based rather than cost-plus pricing.
- Prepare cost and pricing proposals and analyze proposal submissions.
