Sr Data Analyst - Data Analyst Advisor

Role overview

Essential duties

• Analyze data from multiple sources to understand business problems and deliverables; create solutions from concept to production.
• Communicate findings broadly and use technology to evaluate trends and develop actionable management recommendations.
• Use data, statistical and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management to inform decisions.
• Mentor less senior staff, work on cross-functional projects, and routinely present to management.
• Support air network design, optimization, deployment, capacity planning, business onboarding, segment expansion, and profitable growth; analyze performance for improvements.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics, or finance; related experience may offset the degree requirement.
• Five years of experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations or marketing analysis, simulation development, and/or predictive analytics.
• Proficiency in analytics software and applications; good interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.

Preferred qualification

• Air planning experience is preferred.

Workplace

• Described as a hybrid position; preferred locations are Pittsburgh, Memphis, or Plano, but candidates elsewhere in the United States may be considered, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories.
• Candidates within 50 miles of a FedEx campus must work on-site at a FedEx location several times per week.

Pay transparency

• Monthly pay ranges vary by location; the listed ranges span USD 6,168.90–15,607.31 per month, with separate ranges for states and jurisdictions.
