About the role

You will

• Identify what patients need to know and make their next steps clear throughout their healthcare journey.
• Develop and test messaging and positioning concepts, using data and patient feedback to refine content.
• Write product, email, push notification, and other channel copy for onboarding, ongoing care, and re-engagement.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and lifecycle marketers to create a consistent story across products and communications.
• Translate complex healthcare information into approachable, accurate language with clinical and marketing teams.
• Apply and evolve the Felix voice, adapting tone to each context.
• Take work from concept through writing, review, delivery, and iteration; explain decisions and incorporate feedback.
• Develop guidelines, tools, processes, and AI-powered approaches for high-quality, on-brand content at scale.
• Improve writing across the company through feedback, coaching, and critique.

You have

• 5+ years of relevant content design, UX writing, or copywriting experience for a consumer-facing digital product or service.
• A strong portfolio showing hands-on product and customer communication writing and the strategy behind the work.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, including making complex information clear, concise, and human.
• Strong editorial judgment and attention to accuracy, grammar, and consistency.
• Experience with AI writing tools, prompting, voice and channel guidelines, and evaluating outputs for quality and consistency.
• Ability to explain your thinking, collaborate across disciplines, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced startup.
• Resourcefulness and initiative to build the content design practice as its first hire.

Compensation
