Opportunity

Analyze moderately complex business problems and design automated systems and procedures that meet user requirements.

Configure systems, test solutions, and help define specifications for automated systems.

Development and delivery

  • Deliver business-prioritized solutions with team members and management, coordinating with QA, ERP, DBAs, operations, and support.
  • Perform design, build, implementation, unit tests, and code reviews; translate functional requirements into technical designs and effort estimates.
  • Develop prototypes and production-grade software, document code, and coordinate integration and regression testing with QA/Test.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, releases, and retrospectives.
  • Support SharePoint and .NET applications with project implementations, enhancements, troubleshooting, and bug fixes.

Application and operations support

  • Design, build, test, and document .NET and SharePoint solutions; document system changes and test configuration changes.
  • Prioritize .NET application delivery, guide team members, and mentor developers and GNOC technicians in problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain application inventories and SharePoint architecture knowledge; monitor performance and implement improvements.
  • Provide Level 2/Level 3 support and collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to maintain availability, capacity, and performance.
  • Use ServiceNow, JIRA, and standard toolsets to track, monitor, repair, and improve services; follow change, incident, and technology management practices.
  • Provide operational and technical training and interact professionally with third-party network service providers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of .NET development experience in a team environment and 2+ years in Agile/Scrum.
  • Proficiency in prompt engineering for AI-assisted development and experience with ChatGPT Codex and Claude Cowork.
  • RESTful/web API knowledge, proficiency in at least one RDBMS, version control using SVN or Git, and Excel macros using VBA/VBS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Technical skills

  • The role involves .NET, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, ServiceNow, and JIRA technologies.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server or Oracle and SVN or Git is relevant to the stated qualification requirements.
  • UiPath (RPA), Python scripting, Bootstrap/web-based UI development, and performance tuning are added advantages.

Additional role scope

The role includes maintaining operational controls, performing and reporting operating control self-assessments, and carrying out other assigned duties.
