Opportunity

Support transportation, customs compliance, and distribution for Alcon's Saudi Distribution Center.

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, customs clearance, providers, and distribution to support timely, compliant product delivery across Saudi Arabia.

Support transportation projects across the GEM region, mainly the Middle East and North Africa.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate transportation activities and monitor inbound and outbound shipment execution.
  • Manage customs documentation and act as a key contact with customs authorities through FASAH/ZATCA.
  • Coordinate freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and warehouse teams.
  • Support NUPCO shipments, ASN bookings, and goods receipt management.
  • Track deliveries, resolve logistics issues, and handle customer-specific distribution requirements.
  • Review freight invoices, validate costs, follow up on discrepancies, and support improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with GxP, SOPs, and quality standards.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, customs clearance, or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of Saudi customs procedures and import/export documents; experience with logistics providers and customs brokers.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English is required.
  • Familiarity with FASAH/ZATCA systems.
  • Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
