Role overview

Provide advanced operational guidance through partner-office transitions and serve as a senior subject-matter expert.

Support Transition Operations Consultants as a first-level escalation resource and help resolve complex issues.

Collaborate with advisors, office staff, custodians, providers, and internal departments to deliver efficient onboarding.

Improve workflows, document best practices, and lead assigned projects and workstreams.

Transition operations

  • Guide transitions from initial onboarding through completion; assess complex issues, develop action plans, coordinate resolution, and escalate when appropriate.
  • Coordinate transition activities across departments, custodians, providers, advisors, and partner-office staff.
  • Take ownership of assigned activities when a partner office officially joins Carson and ensure required work is completed.
  • Monitor custodian paperwork, account openings, and transfer statuses; review provider paperwork and identify potential timeline issues.

Systems, training, and process improvement

  • Support case management, Salesforce and DocuSign reporting, paperwork resolution, and operational tracking; serve as a DocuSign subject-matter expert and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks and barriers, and communicate status and recommended actions.
  • Support recurring meetings and training on processes, systems, paperwork, and best practices; coach less-experienced team members.
  • Develop and improve workflows, document best practices, and share approaches that improve efficiency, accuracy, consistency, and scalability.
  • Lead projects and workstreams by establishing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, tracking deliverables, and communicating progress.

What you need

  • At least four years of experience in financial services operations, advisor transitions, or account operations.
  • Experience as an operational subject-matter expert or escalation resource and leading cross-functional projects or process improvements.
  • Advanced knowledge of transition operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • FINRA securities licenses such as Series 7 and/or Series 66 preferred.
