About This Role

Job Description The role of a Sr. Analyst-SAP Functional (FICO) is critical to the effective management and implementation of SAP's Finance and Controlling (FICO) module. This position serves as the key liaison between business stakeholders and the IT department, ensuring that financial processes and systems within an organization meet the business needs and comply with industry standards. The ideal candidate is expected to bring a wealth of experience in customizing, configuring, and integrating SAP FICO solutions to enhance and support business operations. Additionally, the Sr. Analyst will be responsible for performing complex system analysis, design, and development activities, aiming to optimize the financial efficiency of the organization. This role requires not only technical proficiency but also strong analytical, communication, and project management skills to drive financial system improvements and support long-term strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and develop detailed SAP FICO solutions aligned with objectives.
• Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP FICO modules to enhance operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP FICO with other business systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for FICO configurations and processes.
• Provide expert guidance and training to end-users and stakeholders on SAP functionalities.
• Ensure all financial systems comply with internal policies and external regulations.
• Conduct regular system audits to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Support project teams in the design and delivery of new SAP FICO solutions.
• Develop custom reports and tools to enhance financial data analysis and reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and SAP advancements.
• Assist in the management of SAP system upgrades and enhancements effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with SAP FICO module.
• Proven track record of delivering successful SAP system enhancements and upgrades.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate complex information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Skilled in project management methodologies and tools to drive projects to completion.
